Daily Rate of $415 per day

The Dental Health Aide Therapist (DHAT) under limited oversight by a Dentist, will provide routine dental services within the scope of practice, to include providing culturally appropriate dental disease prevention and education services. The DHAT will also provide chair side assistance as needed, and instruct patients in after care for dental treatments rendered. Travel to remote locations by boat, snowmobile, ATV or small plane.


    • Completion of the DHAT program and have met the federal CHAP requirements as a Dental Health Aide Therapist administered by ANTHC.
    • Dental Health Aide Therapist Certification
    • BLS Certification
    • Willing to complete 4 year work payback obligation for DHAT training received (if applicable).

Work Hours:
Hours worked are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch. This position is an itinerant, on-call as needed working 34 weeks per year and 1275 hours a year. Chugachmiut maintains a drug and alcohol free, non-smoking environment. There may be occasional travel to the villages of the region, must be willing and able to travel in light aircraft.
